Frequently Asked Questions

  1. Do you have a minimum? - Yes! In custom screenprinting we have a 24 piece minimum. We can do less but you will be charged for printing 24 pieces. In embroidery we have a 6 piece minimum. We can do one piece for a sample but we prefer to do 6 at a time.
  2. Can I get just one shirt or hat custom made? – No! We do small quantities but we DO NOT do onezies. 
  3. How long does it take to get something done? – Turnaround time varies with the nature of the order and time of the year. Our normal turnaround time is 5-7 business days for custom screenprinting jobs after final art approval depending on the size of the order. Normal turnaround time for custom embroidery is 5 business days from final design approval depending on size of the order.
  4. Can you RUSH an order? – Yes! Rush charges start when you need a job completed faster than the normal turnaround times mentioned above. RUSH CHARGE is $50. to $150. on top of order amount depending on how fast you need your product.
  5. How much does it cost to setup my logo for screenprinting? – The screenprinting setup cost is $25. per color for a front crest or a full back design. If you reorder 50 pieces or more there is NO setup charge.
  6. How much does it cost to setup my logo for embroidery? – The digitizing charge is the cost to create a file which tells the embroidery machine how to stitch your logo. We have a $50. minimum charge for digitizing logos up to 5,000 stitches and $10.00 per thousand stitches for digitized logos the are above 5,000 stitches.
  7. Will you decorate garments that I provide? – Yes! You can drop ship your own blank garments to us and we will gladly screenprint or embroider your apparel. Or you can take a look at our online blank apparel catalog for extremely low cost blank goods.
  8. Can you provide samples? – Yes! We will be glad to provide blank samples of apparel, or spec samples, as a pre-production run but we must charge for all types of samples and related shipping cost.
  9. Can you design a logo for me? – Yes! We have a design staff at the ready to design you a simple one color logo to a full custom racing and/or business design that can go up to 12 colors. We can do it all for you, if you’re a startup company, or a new team, or simply looking to spice up your existing logo, we can help. If you already have your logo design we can set it up for screenprinting or custom embroidery.
  10. What is the cost for artwork? – We charge $40. per hour for artwork setup time and it is billed in quarter hour increments. Design time for race team apparel is $50. per hour with a typical design cost of $400. - $500. for an 8 to 12 color full front or back design.
  11. Can I provide my own artwork? – Yes! You can provide your own artwork, logo design, drawing, layout, etc., or let our graphic art department do some, or all of the work.
  12. Who has copyrights to the artwork? – PDA, Inc. retains all copyrights to all artwork produced in house unless a written release is provided by PDA, Inc. All artwork provided by clients are copyright to their respective owners.
  13. Can I see what my design will look like before it’s printed? – Yes! All artwork designs are e-mailed to you for you to look at and approve. No order will be printed or embroidered before we have a signed off version of the art, approving layout, spelling, size of design, etc.
  14. Do you keep the screens or artwork on file? – Yes, on the artwork and No, on the screens! We keep a hard copy and a computer back up on all artwork. Re-orders next week or next year are no problem. New screens will be burned when your re-order is placed – at no charge if the order is 50 pieces or more.
  15. Do you deliver? – Yes! We can ship via UPS or FEDEX all over the world. The cost will be additional to your order. Locally you can make arrangements with local courier services for pick up or you can pick them up your self.
